This is a submarine piloted by a frog. The Instrument array is made from watch movements, and so the submarine is named, "The Jewels Verne".
The last image below shows the first assembly of the sculpture in 2019. It was completed in 2023, with the internal wiring, lights and instruments.
Medium:
mixed metals (bronze, copper brass, aluminum) and wire; used marine engine parts*; soldered bits of copper; acrylic paints on wax; ice-fishing lure; paper from nautical charts; marbles; fairy-light string; watch workings. *Outboard flywheel, propane tubing and fittings; spark-plug boots for eye sockets; wire. The battery pack is hidden in a treasure chest made of wood, trinkets.
